Canton Squirrel Situation: I have a small problem that I don't want to become a big problem. At the beginning of summer there was a squirrel that had gotten between the attic floor and the second floor ceiling. I began to let my radio play 24 hour a day and after about three weeks, no more squirrels. Yesterday afternoon while relaxing in the attic I heard a scratching noise on the south east base of the attic and my first thought was that they (squirrels) were back. I am not good on ladders, and I know nothing about setting traps. I am retired and my income is limited but if you could give or send me some kind of pricing list for Canton OH I would appreciate it very much. I have had a problem that started about 4 years ago with squirrels eating stuff around our home. They have eaten decking and garden furniture so I baited a trap 4 years ago and caught and released 45 of them. The next few years around 25 and this year 3 with the last one about 4 months ago. For some reason they refuse to go into the trap anymore. I have used peanut butter in the past with great success and now nothing. I have tried bird seed, squirrel food with corn and bird seed, bait and apples. Nothing works. I thought maybe they had urinated on the trap while they were in it and that pushed them away, so I washed and cleaned it, but no success. Can you help me with this because I don't want to poison them? Thanks

I have a severe squirrel problem in my attic. We always carefully look around the house and up by the roof for openings, we take care of them if they are and we always look. There are several squirrels where I live. They keep getting into my attic. We have trapped them (1at a time) and placed it somewhere else. It seems that we are running the local squirrel hotel. The noises they make are really awful and very disruptive. If you have any suggestions at all I would really appreciate them...
