Grand Rapids Squirrel Situation: Hi David, I think I have read just about everything on your site. It is nicely written and well put together, thank-you for doing it and providing so much interesting information. Obviously I have a squirrel(s) in my house in Grand Rapids or I probably wouldn't be writing to you. I have observed red squirrels, gray squirrels, black squirrels and chipmunks in my neighborhood and have stopped a red squirrel, who was chewing it's way into my eaves above a window, by covering the wood with aluminum facing. My problem is that I cannot find where it/they are gaining entry. My house is a back-split and I hear activity usually early morning (5:30 AM) and late evening (9:00-10:00 PM) in the joining wall where the levels split as well as in the first floor's ceiling which is also the second floor's floor. I have inspected the attics of both parts of the house and found no evidence of any animal activity whatsoever. Somehow it/they are entering and going directly into the wall and ceiling. I don't hear evidence in any other part of the house. This is a cross section of the house to illustrate where the sounds are heard. One small section of wall plus the ceiling/floor at the near end of the structure. So even if I am successful in getting them out they would probably just run back in again. I have spent numerous hours watching outside to see if I could discover an entry point but so far unsuccessfully. Do you have any tricks for finding access points that I could try? Thanks for any advice, Dennis
