Knoxville Squirrel Situation: Hello, I am a veterinarian in Knoxville TN and I am working on my parent's house trying to get it ready to sell. I noticed some squeaking in the carpet and when I went to investigate found that squirrels had chewed through fascia and are living in the sub flooring of the second floor between second floor and basement. I have a feeling there are fingerlings and a mother squirrel living there. I do not want to kill them but want them removed humanely and I am even willing to allow them to grow up and move out if needed so as not to jeopardize their life. I just don't want more squirrels once these are grown. I also of course need to fix the fascia board and the flooring as soon as I can. Is there any way you can meet me there on Saturday to discuss and let me know the best plan and price to remove them? Thank you. Melanie
Hi, We live in Knoxville Tennessee, and have had recurring squirrel problems for the past 5 - 6 years. They have somehow found a way into our basement walls, and are getting so bold as to drag nesting material in and out of our house thru a pipe near out front door. They run up our walls and over our roof a lot, so may even be gaining entry up there somewhere. The basement entry point is inaccessible due to a large cement deck, but they are finding a way down there. What can you recommend, and do you know any animal control people here in TN? I have tried the past three years and even though I get the soffit fixed they make a new whole in a different spot. Hi, I saw your website and was wondering how to get rid of a squirrel in my attic? I am not exactly sure what animal it is, but I am pretty sure it is a squirrel! They keep coming back and have made a hole in my ceiling. I do not know what to do. They are not running around the attic and I am pretty sure they are not stuck since they only come when they please. It would be great if you would get back to me asap!
