I think I have a squirrel in the laundry room of my walkout basement. It is an unfinished room, and I discovered scat last night. Is resembles mouse droppings, but larger. There is also a urine scent. The walls are unfinished, but there is heavy plastic up for insulation purposes and something has chewed a hole through the plastic. Do you think this is a squirrel? I do have many grey squirrels in my yard. If so, what would be the best way to get rid of it and how do I keep it from coming back in? Could it be coming from the attic down, or the floor up? I believe you were out at my house because I have squirrels in my attic. You were going to come back in a week to set the one-way door and do some exterior repair work, but then I never heard back from you. I still have the squirrels - and by the sound of it, they are multiplying rapidly, and I have not been able to find anyone else who I trust to do the work. Hi I have what I believe is a squirrel in my bathroom wall. I've heard a scratching noise over the last week while bathing. I've checked for access points to no avail. I try to keep branches 15 ft away from my home but my neighbors refuse to trim their trees and there is only so much I can trim away. I see hundreds of squirrels daily when outside my home...my neighbor feeds them. My roof was replaced entirely in 2011, I have a brick home. I have no idea how the squirrel got in.
