Marietta Squirrel Situation: Hi David , We live in Marietta Ga. After 36 years in the house we had built we note for the first time noises which according to you description could be squirrels in the attic under the trusses. In my younger days I used to climb into the attic but cannot do that any more. Based on my research, I tend to try the Ultrasonic Guardian repellent, to chase away the squirrels if any and then seal the identifiable entry points. If this works then we should be fine. If not I would resort to a specialized firm in the area which could do that job for me. Please get back to me at your earliest convenience. We are now mid-August and I suspect whatever litters are there will have absconded as they have grown. Thank you for your friendly cooperation.

David, I found your website extremely helpful! Though we successfully rid the attic of 3 squirrels this past spring, it seems new squirrels have made a home in my attic. I was truly surprised our approach worked. Several holes were patched, leaving 3 squirrels in my attic. We used single traps from Lowe's and baited them with PB and bread. I made them each half of a sandwich! haha I am so disappointed that I must do this again. Unfortunately, I live in a townhome. There are 7 homes in one building. Do you have any experience trpping squirrels in townhomes? Is it possible to "squirrel-proof" one townhome? I have heard them running across the eaves/soffit and suspect they travel from one home to another. Is this a problem that every homeowner must address individually? Can I rid my townhome of squirrels without the participation of my 6 neighbors? I appreciate any advice you might have for my situation. Thank you for your dedication to safely removing wildlife from our homes, Sandra

I came across your squirrel removal guide and I have a few questions. I am living in an older house, and I live in the loft. I constantly hear loud running and thumping noises in my walls and under my floorboards and I am not sure if it is squirrels or something else like rats or mice. Lately I have seen a plethora of squirrels outside and around my house, which is why I thought it could be squirrels..the strangest thing to me is the noise that they are making in the walls and under my floorboards. They are squeaking and it almost sounds like they are fighting. There is another noise they are making that I can't really describe, but it almost sounds like an angry groan. They are pretty loud, and I hear them at random times of the day and sometimes at night. Do you think we have squirrels? Thank you!
