Norfolk Squirrel Removal

Although I wrote everything I know about squirrel issues for this website, oftentimes a problem with squirrels in the attic is beyond the scope of the do-it-yourself homeowner to solve. We have a professional squirrel expert in Norfolk, Virginia that handles problems with wildlife. We possess licensing that allows us to do certain types of work legally, that non-licensed homeowners in the state of Virginia are not allowed to do. Norfolk Squirrel Situation: Last night I heard a lot of squeaking (almost like chatter a bunch talking at the same time) going on in my ceiling at about 10pm. I've never heard it before. No scratching noises. My house was built in 1900 so it has plaster walls. I banged on the wall and it didn't quiet them down. How do I know if this is squirrels or another animal without going in the attic myself? I turned on a fan to drown them out and went to bed. This morning no noise and I pounded on the wall in the same place, still no noise. If it is squirrels and they are making that much noise are they still small? It was at connection of a gable so the roof is slanted and kind of protected so I'm hoping they were actually outside on the roof, does that even sound possible? (fingers crossed!) Thanks! Christine

Hello David, your Website is rather informative and I have learned a lot from it. I just recently moved into my grandparents house and have a squirrel problem, actually I can remember my grandparents having this issue as well so I know it has been going on for sometime now. I have tried many of the techniques that you mentioned but I think my main problem is I can't figure out where they are coming in. Do you know of anyone that can help in the Norfolk VA area that you can recommend? I think it is time for a specialist.

Will you please email me back with an estimate for how much your company would charge for inspecting my home and attic, chasing out the squirrels, finding the places where these squirrels etc are getting in and then covering up/blocking up these holes/spaces so no more squirrels etc can get in. Also, include cost of spraying deterrent for the future. I live in a 2000 sq ft tri-level home built in the 70's. There are two places where one can access the attic. Let me know.

David, hi! I have had few squirrels in the attic. They tore the holes trough the wire mesh in the roof vent. I wen to the attic, and I think I spooked them as I saw at least one coming out. I patched the hole with brand new wire and installed a couple of ultrasonic repellents in the attic. Well, that was last Monday. Apparently one of them was left trapped inside. I checked all around the rood and walls, and I do not think I have any more holes. It makes noise and I saw it few times running around in the attic when I climbed in. I am afraid to open the vent as more of them can come in. But I do not know how to evict the remaining one. Can you please advise?! Thanks!
