You might want to consider a professional for the removal of squirrels in Reading, Pennsylvania

Reading Squirrel Removal

Although I wrote everything I know about squirrel issues for this website, oftentimes a problem with squirrels in the attic is beyond the scope of the do-it-yourself homeowner to solve. I have found a professional company in Reading, Pennsylvania that handles problems with wildlife. Fur and Feathers Wildlife Control has access to tools, techniques, and experience that help them do a far better job at wildlife removal than a non-experienced homeowner could. They possess licensing that allows them to do certain types of work legally, that non-licensed homeowners in the state of Pennsylvania are not allowed to do. For the welfare of your situation, and the squirrels, in some cases it's best to hire a pro.

There are good companies and bad companies out there. I've done research on such companies, to get to know them, and feel confident recommending their services. I therefore recommend a company called Fur and Feathers Wildlife Control which services Reading, Pennsylvania. If you have a squirrel problem, or any other conflict with a wild animal, and live in Reading, I am confident that this company, Fur and Feathers Wildlife Control, is the one to call.

Dave, first of all do you have a branch of your business in Berks County PA? We are in Reading PA. between Pottstown and Pottsville. What is your phone number? We live in the country & have at least three or four squirrels living behind our wall and also I have heard them in the duct work down our basement. Seventeen months ago, two came in to nest behind our bedroom wall, high up in the corner where a small outside porch is located. Somehow they came by the roof but my husband couldn't find the exact spot & just ignored the whole thing. I knew the exact spot but he wouldn't let me call a professional. Now they have a couple of other places & a couple of babies ... My husband has terminal cancer & isn't expected to live beyond 2 or 3 months. Sounds kind of cold I guess to say I will be calling you after this happens. It would have been so much better if the squirrels had been taken out of the wall when the young ones were born. I could hear all of that in our room, the chattering etc. Thank you, Tammy

Hi David, rec'd an auto-reply . I have read your web-site but couldn't find the info needed: - I have at least one squirrel in the roof space of my garden workshop (seen it disappearing behind the barge board). Just a couple of questions - would there be 'young' ones there at this time of year and when would be the best time to try and get rid of them (humanely). I was thinking of removing the internal boarding which would give them no where to nest. Then filling in the space between rafters with kingspan and re-boarding. Plus would a sonic deterrent be any use and/or DeadFast a smoke fumigator?? Hope you can help me. thanks

My response: There probably are young ones in there right now. Wait until they are large enough to get out. Sonic deterrent is worthless. Just use an exclusion door.
