You might want to consider a professional for the removal of squirrels in San Jose, California

San Jose Squirrel Removal

Although I wrote everything I know about squirrel issues for this website, oftentimes a problem with squirrels in the attic is beyond the scope of the do-it-yourself homeowner to solve. I have found a professional company in San Jose, California that handles problems with wildlife. Wildlife Catchers has access to tools, techniques, and experience that help them do a far better job at wildlife removal than a non-experienced homeowner could. They possess licensing that allows them to do certain types of work legally, that non-licensed homeowners in the state of California are not allowed to do. For the welfare of your situation, and the squirrels, in some cases it's best to hire a pro.

There are good companies and bad companies out there. I've done research on such companies, to get to know them, and feel confident recommending their services. I therefore recommend a company called Wildlife Catchers which services San Jose, California. If you have a squirrel problem, or any other conflict with a wild animal, and live in San Jose, I am confident that this company, Wildlife Catchers, is the one to call.

I found your website by researching how to get squirrels out of your attic. To start off, we have some squirrels in our neighborhood that we feed peanuts to (urban area). I have heard noised in my bathroom ceiling and walls for the past (approximate) 3 weeks. Yesterday, I went on my roof (the roof is above the bathroom ceiling) and saw peanut shells in the gutters and found a hole in the side of my house where some bricks have fallen out (an old chimney that is covered and not in use). This evening, I saw a squirrel jump from the next house onto the roof on mine and didn't see it come off. So I am assuming that the noises I hear are a squirrel (and not mice like I have been trying to catch). I don't want to kill the squirrel- which is what the local exterminators would do (I called them). I read on you page that it is likely that one squirrel in February and August will be a mom with babies. My question is, how likely will it be that the one in my ceiling will be a mom with babies when I have been hearing it now for 2-3 weeks already? Would it be mom getting the nest ready? I don't want to wait for too long if it isn't a mother and young- it has already been in the ceiling doing damage and I would like to limit further damage. Any advice you can give me would be much appreciated! Also, where can I buy a one way exit door? I do not want to catch the squirrel as I think I may have trouble releasing it after catching it and don't want it to suffer in the trap all day while I am at work (if I were to catch it in the morning). I just want it to go out and not be able to get back in. Once I am sure that it is out I will take steps to fix the hole in the side of the house. Also, approximately how long should I wait to make sure the squirrel is out before fixing the hole? a week? Two? Thank you for your time and advice. Beth.
