Toledo Squirrel Removal

Although I wrote everything I know about squirrel issues for this website, oftentimes a problem with squirrels in the attic is beyond the scope of the do-it-yourself homeowner to solve. We have a professional squirrel expert in Toledo, Ohio that handles problems with wildlife. We have the tools, techniques, and experience that help us do a far better job at wildlife removal than a non-experienced homeowner could. We possess licensing that allows us to do certain types of work legally, that non-licensed homeowners in the state of Ohio are not allowed to do. For the welfare of your situation, and the squirrels, in some cases it's best to hire a pro.

Toledo Squirrel Situation: If you ever find situations where you end up with squirrel babies too young to release, I have fostered (dropper fed, raised and released) 2 litters successfully and would welcome the opportunity to do it again (and again). I raised 2 while in college (that's long enough ago that I'm not going to tell you how long) and last fall I ended up with 3 when a tree trimming project at my office disrupted a nest. It was absolutely incredible to take these doomed babies home and help them grow up. My kids were 9 & 10 and it was also great for them helping and having this experience. They transitioned into our neighborhood, which is abundant with squirrels anyway, and we can still recognize one of them by his shorter tail, which was broken when they got into some rough sibling play shortly after their eyes opened. I'm probably not well-situated for adolescents that already have their eyes open and will be anxious/stressed over temporary captivity, but if their eyes haven't opened and they need an eye-dropper feeding every 3 or 4 hours, please keep me in mind. Thanks, Shawn K.

I was going through the internet looking of ways to get the squirrels out of my roof and I cam across your site. Nonetheless it augmented my knowledge of squirrels, however I have a certain dilemma that wasn't really explained on your website. I have around 1-5 squirrels living in a vent sort of thing from the outside. They chewed the wood in and go inside. They have been there for a couple months so far, and the lack of sleep I am getting is starting to put my teeth on edge. They are probably grey squirrels (we live in Georgia suburbs lots of trees around). I started hearing them knocking around nuts up there. Based on your website you say they have a litter in the winter, and well I really need to get rid of them before they start having babies. They chewed through the wood and are only in a vent gutter sort of thing that goes into the house, no connection to an attic or anything, however I am concerned that they might chew through much more stuff and then have a major problem on our hands. My family called a rid a critter company and they wanted $2000 dollars to fix the hole, only the hole! And you seem an educated man on squirrel problems so basically I am asking, what can I do? Should we pay the $2000 dollars? Is this a major concern? Can these squirrels get into the house and wreck havoc? What should I do? Thank you, Carl

That's a very high price. What company did you hire? Without seeing it myself I can't comment, but if it's one hole, it shouldn't be a problem to mount a one-way door on that hole, get all the squirrels out, then fix the hole for far less than $2000.
